Lenox is getting ready for Labor Day weekend! It’s going to be phenomenal! Tanglewood is offering two great shows on Saturday: jazz and classical composer and improviser Donal Fox at 1 p.m. and piano-man Harry Connick, Jr. at 7 p.m. Then, on Sunday, the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra will close out the season at 2:30 p.m.
Tickets are available for both Saturday concerts individually. You may also purchase an all-day lawn pass for $40, which is good for admission to the lawn for both performances. Lawn pass holders will be permitted to remain on the grounds between the shows.

Martin Bookspan has been Commentator for nationwide radio broadcasts of concerts by the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the New York Philharmonic. For 30 years he served as Commentator for the PBS series “Live From Lincoln Center”, as well as various other appearances. He has also authored four books and many articles and linear notes. He is the only broadcaster to have been inducted into the American Classical Music Hall of Fame. In a distinguished career of 60 years, Martin Bookspan is known as “The Voice of Classical Music”.
