Weekend Culinary Experience
Come to Lenox in the heart of the Berkshires for a culinary retreat weekend. 

Let the Gateways Inn take you to another time and place. The incomparable elegance of the Procter mansion, infused with the charm and hospitality of Innkeepers Michele & Eiran Gazit will surely enchant you. Located in the heart of Lenox, Massachusetts, in the Berkshire Hills, the Gateways Inn offers a perfect getaway.

Your culinary experience begins on Friday with a meet and greet social hour at 6p.m. followed by a group dinner with wine in our restaurant at 7 p.m.

On Saturday morning enjoy our full European style breakfast at 9a.m. to fill your body and spirit before entering the kitchen to begin your culinary immersion. From 10:30-1:00 you’ll don your aprons and roll up your sleeves to start chopping, slicing and dicing as you prepare the first of 2 themed meals of the weekend. There will be a short refreshment break during this session and when you are done, sit back and enjoy the fruits of your labor for a gourmet lunch.

Your next culinary adventure begins at 3:30 when you will begin your dinner menu preparation. Here again there will be a short refreshment break during instruction before you sit together at 7:30 to enjoy the gourmet dinner you helped prepare, accompanied by wine.

Sunday will be bittersweet with departure at 11:00 after a farewell breakfast.
