The museum is always bringing in new and exciting exhibitions all year-round. Since 2002, more than 6,600 original picture-book art have been received from generous collectors and artists. The museum considers it their great honor to conserve, preserve, and exhibit these incredible works of art. As you browse the permanent collection, keep an eye out for the illustrations of famous artists including Arthur Rackham, Ludwig Bemelmans, John Pinkney, and Garth Williams.

Attend a Workshop

Professional development programs are offered at the Carle to help educators engage their students in the visual arts.
