Meet the Innkeepers

Michele & Eiran Gazit

Eiran Gazit has the perfect combination of business acumen and social graces to be the host of this luxurious Lenox Inn. Born in Israel, bred in England, married to an American and widely traveled – his international charm is readily apparent upon entering the Inn. His many years as an entrepreneur and business consultant within the tourist destination industry assure the smooth running of the operations of our Lenox B&B whether for a romantic getaway, elopement, destination wedding or an evening of live music and fun.

No newcomer to hospitality and event organizing, Eiran managed the Cornell Inn down the road in Lenox after it was abandoned, and later was appointed Business Manager for the deluxe Winthrop Estate in Lenox, branding it as the premier destination-wedding venue in the area.

Before moving from Jerusalem to the Berkshires in 2005, he was the founder and CEO of Mini Israel, a unique outdoor park featuring exact scale replicas of all the famous and important sites in Israel.  He recently founded and led the creation of New York’s Time Square attraction “Gulliver’s Gate”. A graduate of the prestigious Hebrew University in Jerusalem, with a master’s degree in Entrepreneurship from Australia’s Swinburne Institute, Eiran is deeply involved in local marketing efforts and the Berkshires Jewish community.

All this would be irrelevant and impossible if not for his wife and partner Michele, and their three sons. A New Jersey girl who lived in Dallas TX, Miami FL and Wichita KA before moving to Israel, Michele graduated from Syracuse University with degrees in Business and Psychology. Michele is a licensed massage and reflexology therapist, specializing in geriatric and Alzheimer stricken patients. In addition her studies included nutrition and herbal medicines all of which she incorporates in her passion for healthy cooking, artfully prepared and presented – as any guest at the inn can attest!  She takes pride in offering farm to fork dishes as appealing to the eye as they are to the palate!

Both Michele and Eiran have an intimate knowledge of the arts and all that is the Berkshires and enjoy assisting guests of their Lenox inn plan their days activities whenever needed.

The couple’s three sons help out at the Lenox inn when their busy schedules allow. Adam, the oldest is a culinary student at CIA,  Lior is studying Physical Therapy at Berkshire Community College and Matan has completed his Israeli military service and will be doing his University studies in Israel.
