About the Berkshire Museum Festival of Trees
The Berkshire Museum in Pittsfield is a wonderful destination year round. Yearly, it is host to many fantastic events, including the annual Berkshires Museum Festival of Trees. The Christmas themed event features more than 100 trees sponsored by local businesses, community organizations and schools. Each year a theme is chosen for the festival and each tree is decorated to fit it. Past themes include Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow and Festival Trees on Safari.
What to Expect at This Year’s Berkshire Museum Festival of Trees
Beginning Friday, November 17th, the whimsical and wonderful Festival of Trees comes to life for a Christmas celebration you won’t soon forget. Boasting unlikely marriages of objects, strange juxtapositions, and marvelous scenes, the event will whisk visitors through an indoor forest of embellished trees. As you explore, you’ll see a bountiful collection of holiday keepsakes, trinkets, and amazing curio cabinets. As an added bonus, this year’s event will also feature a game of “I Spy.” Each tree will have a unique object or ornament that must be found.
